Garuda Indonesia generate revenue of Rp 27.1 T


PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) closed in 2011 with earned income (unaudited) amounted to Rp 27.1 trillion. Revenues in 2011 increased by 39 percent over the period of 2010 which amounted to Rp 19.5 trillion. Increased revenues (unaudited) was successfully achieved through the expansion of the company's operations through the program "Quantum Leap" and through the company's efficiency programs as well as through the utilization of assets.
 
"During the year 2011, Garuda managed to carry as many as 17.1 million domestic passengers that is 13.9 million and 3.2 million international passengers, an increase of 36.8 percent compared to 12:53 million passengers in 2010," said President Director of Garuda, Satar in a written statement Accepted Tribune, Thursday (01/12/2012).
During the year 2011, the frequency of flights Garuda Indonesia (domestic and international) also increased by 27 percent to 130,043 flights, compared to the period of 2010 that as many as 102,724 flights.
 
Moreover - in 2011 - Garuda Indonesia also managed to increase the level of passenger entries (Seat Load Factor / SLF) by 5 percent to 74.7 percent from 71.7 percent in the previous year or an increase of five percent. Aircraft utilization also increased from 9:23 hours in 2010 to 10:40 hours in the year 2011. Accuracy level flight / On Time Performance (OTP) also increased to 85.68 percent from 80.15 percent last year.
 
In the period of 2011, Garuda Indonesia also managed to increase its market share in the domestic market to 28.3 percent, up five percent over the same period last year which amounted to 23.7 percent.
Domestic air passenger market in 2011 grew by 16 percent, but Garuda Indonesia passenger market increased significantly by 36 percent, higher than any other airline increased the average - average by 9 percent. While international passengers grew by 12 per cent of the market where Garuda Indonesia managed to grow by 29.5 percent over other airlines by 8 percent.
 
Associated with the development and expansion of the fleet, Garuda Indonesia - in 2011 - received 11 new aircraft comprising two A330-200 and 9 B737-800 Next Generation, bringing the total flights operated during the year 2011 is as much as 88 aircraft with the average - average aircraft age 6.5 years.
 
In 2011 Garuda Makassar inaugurated as the "Hub" third after Jakarta and Denpasar. As a hub, connecting 15 cities of Makassar in Sulawesi, Maluku, Papua and Singapore.
