Some Errors in the use of condoms
Condoms are 98 percent effective in preventing transmission of sexually transmitted diseases of pregnancy if used properly.However, unfortunately there are still many men who are still wrong to use condoms.
The team of researchers from The Kinsey Institute Condom Use Research Team (Curt) analyzed 50 articles that have been published from several media between 1995-2011.
The researchers also involves a variety of participants ranging from monogamous pairs to sex workers. Researchers are finding that condoms are often not used as a safety during sex.
The researchers highlighted a number of errors including the use of a sharp object to open a condom package, using a condom too late or too quickly during sex and difficulty of using condoms additional lubricant.
Late Use
Observation that approximately 17 to 51.1 percent of people reported to put a condom a while after sex activity performed. While 13.6 to 44.7 per cent said using condoms from start having sex.
Errors in usage
Researchers also found some errors when a man in putting a condom. Approximately 45.7 percent of men questioned the researchers admit they do not give room for the semen when using a condom. About a quarter of men reported to have unrolled the condom before installing it on the penis. While 4 to 30.4 percent of men reported condom off while still having sex.
Not thoroughly
Researchers also found that approximately 74.5 percent of men and 82.7 percent of women did not inspect the damage they buy condoms before using them. In fact, half the number of male and female participants admitted to not throw the air from the condom prior to use in their genitals.
Broken Condom
Condom ripped and leaking is a problem that is often experienced.Results showed that 0.8 to 4.7 per cent had experienced a condom to tear. While 13.1 to 19.3 per cent had experienced a leak.
Professor Crosby, as reported by Dailymail, Tuesday (28/2) says, need education and instruction on how to use condoms correctly, so that unwanted pregnancies and transmission of other infectious diseases can be minimized.
