Early detection by Pap smear every two years will be able to prevent attacks that are categorized as malignant cervical cancer.
"The growth of abnormal cells become cancerous is quite long. "Every year more than 15,000 detected cases of cervical cancer in Indonesia, with about 8000 cases of which were fatal," he said.
The cause of most cervical cancers are caused by a virus major HPV (Human Papilloma Virus). This virus has more than 100 types of most of them are harmless and will disappear by itself.
Of the overall type, HPV 16 and 18 listed as a type of HPV virus is most dangerous. Another thing that can cause cervical cancer is abnormal cells on the cervix that could grow due to radiation exposure or contamination of chemicals that occur in a long time.

Not just a matter of cancer, reproductive health is essential for every woman in particular who have entered the age of sexual maturity.
"The reproductive organs of women, ranging from the vagina to the uterus, is the most vulnerable to be exposed to a wide range of health problems," he said.
